Role overview:
- As an Electrical Pre-Contract Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating electrical contracts before they are finalized. You will be responsible for assessing project requirements, liaising with clients, and ensuring that all pre-contract activities align with business objectives and industry standards.
Key Accountabilities:
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations.
- Tender Management: Prepare, review, and assess tender documents for electrical projects.
- Project Planning: Define bid strategies, engage with supply chain partners, and ensure operational, design, and commercial planning align with project goals.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and ensure mitigation strategies are in place.
- Negotiation & Contracts: Lead client-facing meetings, manage negotiations, and finalises contract terms.
- Technical Expertise: Provide insights into electrical building services, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with estimating teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and competitor strategies.
Essential

- Proven experience in Electrical Building Services and MEP projects.
- Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems and contract management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and report writing.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Construction, or Building Services.
