Data Analyst/Lead - Savings & Marketing

Drive data understanding, control, and quality for the Savings division and Marketing function, ensuring data is fit for business and stakeholder use. Own the development and maintenance of the Tableau report suite to support business intelligence and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and optimise Tableau dashboards to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Ensure the accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of data visualisations and reports.
  • Train and support team members in Tableau and report interpretation.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the data strategy within Savings and Marketing, representing the division on the Bank's Data Committee.
  • Partner with internal teams to deliver data-led initiatives, including GDPR compliance.
  • Foster data literacy within the team.
  • Drive process improvements for data quality, including data cleansing.
  • Support operational teams in establishing strong data entry and quality controls.
  • Map and document data lineage and maintain the division's ROPA.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior data team members.
  • Troubleshoot data-related technical issues.
  • Develop and oversee monthly data quality reporting with key metrics.

Key Relationships:

  • Internal: Savings business, Marketing function, 2nd line data teams, Finance, Treasury, Risk & Compliance.
  • External: Snowflake.

Experience & Attributes:

  • Proven experience in owning and producing Data Quality reporting.
  • Strong understanding of Data Management frameworks.
  • Proficient in Tableau and SQL.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Minimum 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths (Grade C or above).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • High attention to detail and administrative skills.
  • Ability to identify, analyse, and solve problems, with a proactive and adaptable approach.
