I am currently partnering with a premier FTSE 250 FinTech organization that is effectively rewriting the playbook on software development. While most companies are "considering" AI, my client is already AI-First. They are looking for a heavy-hitting Senior Java Engineer to join their Digital Platform Services team. This isn’t just a "Java dev" role—it is a position for a visionary engineer who wants to leverage Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) to achieve 2x-5x productivity gains.

You will be building scalable, cloud-native microservices for a platform used by over 340,000 global traders, ensuring that AI is deeply integrated into every stage of the SDLC.

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Backend Mastery: 5–10 years of experience in backend engineering (Strong Java is essential; exposure to Python, Go, or Node.js is a plus).

• Architectural Depth: Proven track record with Microservices, API-first design (REST/GraphQL), and distributed systems.

• AI as a Force Multiplier: You are already using tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or Copilot in production. You understand prompt engineering and when to apply human judgment vs. AI automation.

• Infrastructure: Experience with Cloud (AWS/Azure), Docker/Kubernetes, and building automated quality metrics into CI/CD.

• The "X" Factor: Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or building your own AI-powered dev tools will put you at the top of the list.
